Assad Vala: Papua New Guinea’s do-everything captain is a towering figure, literally and figuratively, in the national team. The six-foot tall batter’s size translates into muscle at the crease where he is a powerful striker of the ball at No. 3 and consistently PNG’s top scorer. He also regularly bowls a full quota of offspin and is often a handful for left-handers to get away.CJ Amini: The long-time vice-captain is a third-generation national team player. A showstopper in the field at backward point, he has produced some of the most spectacular run-outs and catches in world cricket to not be captured by television cameras. His fielding prowess often overshadows the fact that he is also a quality legspinner and capable of smashing a few quick runs in the death overs.Norman Vanua: The allrounder started off the 2019 T20 World Cup Qualifier by taking a hat-trick against Bermuda, and through the tournament proved himself to be PNG’s best death bowler with his accurate yorkers. PNG’s fortunes are the hardest to predict because of their difference in form between formats. They lost eight straight ODIs in the two months leading into the 2019 Qualifier, before morphing into a T20 juggernaut in the UAE. They are in similarly terrible ODI form going into the T20 World Cup, having lost another eight in a row to stretch their ODI drought to 16 straight losses. A machine and clinical finisher, Erling Haaland doesn’t seem real at times, using his pace and power to bully some of the best defenders around.

The Manchester City superstar wouldn’t have the better of Speed in a 100m race, though, according to Chat GPT, who say despite Haaland being excellent over 60m, he would record a 100m time of 10.8 seconds.

Kylian Mbappe 10.6 seconds

Regarded as one of the fastest forwards on the planet today, Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe wouldn’t be quick enough to beat Speed.

The Frenchman has been backed to clock a time of 10.6 seconds over 100m, so it would be close between Mbappe and Speed with the latter running out as the winner.

A race that millions across the world would like to see is Speed vs Cristiano Ronaldo.

ChatGPT states that Ronaldo clocked 96m in 10 seconds during his time at Real Madrid, but even in his prime, Speed could beat his idol by a tenth in a 100m dash.

When you think of Adama Traore, you immediately think of speed and power. Traore wouldn’t look out of place in a professional 100m race, and he would pip Speed across that distance according to AI.

The former Barcelona youngster has been predicted to record a time of 10.4 seconds, just pipping the internet star.

Citing his famous sprint against Barcelona in 2014 Copa del Rey final, Speed wouldn’t have the better of a prime Gareth Bale, according to ChatGPT.

The Welshman was known for his pace during his time at Tottenham and Real Madrid, and reaching a top speed of 36.9km per hour, would finish a 100m race in 10.3 seconds.

According to reports, Chelsea are joined in the race for the Frenchman’s signature by both Liverpool and Manchester United in a deal which could yet cost as much as £84m. As ever, the Blues will be keen to make a statement against their Premier League opposition, but Liverpool’s fresh ruthless streak in the market could yet prove to be a problem on that front.

If those at Stamford Bridge do suffer a rare defeat in the transfer window then they must still turn towards alternative attacking options. Nicolas Jackson’s red card against Flamengo as his side lost 3-1 at the Club World Cup once again highlighted why Chelsea could do with an upgraded and more reliable option to lead their frontline.

According to L’Equipe, as relayed by Get French Football News, Chelsea have now opened talks to sign Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain this summer. The Frenchman is currently still on loan at Juventus courtesy of their participation in the Club World Cup, but will have a decision to make regarding his future sooner or later.

It’s then that Chelsea could push on and welcome a player who may replace Jackson. It would certainly be a deserved move for Kolo Muani too. The forward struggled at PSG, but has finally rediscovered his most clinical form whilst on loan in Italy.

وأضاف: ” أكدت تلك المشاورة غياب الدعم الواسع النطاق الذي سبق أن أثاره المشجعون، والدوريات الأخرى، والأندية، واللاعبون، والمؤسسات الأوروبية حول فكرة نقل مباريات الدوري المحلي إلى الخارج.

وواصل: “ومع ذلك، ونظرًا لأن الإطار التنظيمي للفيفا – قيد المراجعة حاليًا – ليس واضحًا ومفصلًا بما يكفي، فقد اتخذت اللجنة التنفيذية للاتحاد الأوروبي لكرة القدم (يويفا) قرارًا على مضض بالموافقة، بشكل استثنائي، على الطلبين المُحالين إليها”.

وأتم: “وسيساهم الاتحاد الأوروبي لكرة القدم (يويفا) بفعالية في العمل الجاري الذي يقوده الفيفا لضمان أن تدعم القواعد المستقبلية نزاهة المسابقات المحلية والروابط الوثيقة بين الأندية وجماهيرها والمجتمعات المحلية”.

وقال رئيس الاتحاد الأوروبي لكرة القدم، ألكسندر تشيفرين:”يجب أن تُقام مباريات الدوري على أرض الوطن؛ أي إجراء آخر من شأنه أن يُحرم المشجعين المخلصين من حقهم في حضور المباريات، وقد يُدخل عناصر مشوهة في المسابقات، وقد أكدت مشاوراتنا اتساع نطاق هذه المخاوف”.

وأتم: “مع أنه من المؤسف تأجيل هاتين المباراتين، إلا أن هذا القرار استثنائي ولا ينبغي اعتباره سابقة، التزامنا واضح: حماية نزاهة الدوريات الوطنية وضمان بقاء كرة القدم راسخة في بيئتها المحلية”.

وافتتح ديكلان رايس التسجيل لآرسنال قبل أن يضمن بوكايو ساكا الثلاث نقاط من ركلة جزاء، وينجح أرتيتا في الفوز خلال مباراته الـ300 في تدريب آرسنال.

وتعرض آرسنال لضربة مؤلمة بسبب الإصابة، حيث اضطر مارتن أوديجارد للخروج بعد نصف ساعة فقط من بداية المباراة، وقد غاب النرويجي عن عدة مباريات هذا الموسم بسبب إصابة في الكتف.

وقال أرتيتا في تصريحات نشرتها “مترو” البريطانية خلال مؤتمر صحفي بعد اللقاء: “أعتقد أنه تعرض لإصابة قوية في الركبة وشعر على الفور بعدم الراحة”.

وأضاف: “تحدثت معه للتو وهو غير متفائل بشأن الأمر، فهو يرتدي دعامة، علينا أن ننتظر ونرى ما سيقوله الأطباء، لكننا لم نكن سيئين الحظ في هذا الأمر أيضاً، لم يلعب منذ بداية الموسم لسبب أو لآخر، إصابة في الكتف مرتين ثم هذه الإصابة، علينا أن ننتظر ونرى مدى خطورة الإصابة ونجد حلولاً”.

وواصل: “من الواضح أنه قائدنا، لاعب يظهر قدرات مختلفة تماماً خاصة في الهجوم، دعونا ننتظر ونأمل ألا تكون الإصابة بهذا السوء”.

وحول رايس الذي غادر في الدقائق الأخيرة الملعب وقد ظهر أنه يعاني من إصابة في الظهر، فقد كشف أرتيتا أن لاعب خط الوسط طلب استبداله: “حسناً، إنه ليس على ما يرام لأنه طلب مني الخروج وهذا أمر مؤسف”.

واختتم: “كان يعاني من آلام في ظهره ولم يتمكن من الاستمرار، وهو أمر غير معتاد للغاية بالنسبة لديكلان، لذلك سيتعين علينا تقييمه ومعرفة حالته”.

The umpires were also seen having a word with Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto after the incident.Tanzim was found to have breached Article 2.12 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to “inappropriate physical contact with a Player, Player Support Personnel, Umpire, Match Referee or any other person (including a spectator) during an International Match”.
