Aggression lets Australia down

Australia’s top order’s eagerness to attack saw them gift England wickets, with Moeen Ali especially profiting from a blind spot against spin

Daniel Brettig in Cardiff09-Jul-2015With Australia and Yorkshire, Darren Lehmann laid waste to many a spin bowler. One modest opponent had the joy of occasionally taking him down.Even though Paul Wiseman of New Zealand was hammered plenty of times, he was twice able to deny Lehmann the sorts of milestones that have fallen to more prudent batting types. In 2004, he bowled Lehmann 19 short of a treasured Test hundred on his beloved Adelaide Oval. Two years later, Wiseman again splayed Lehmann’s stumps as he swung for the six that would have taken him to 345 and the highest ever score for Yorkshire. George Herbert Hirst’s 342 still stands.Another record still standing after day two of the Investec Ashes is Australia’s 14-year run without a series victory on English shores. It was difficult not to think that an opportunity had been missed, as all Australia’s top five made starts and none went on to a match-shaping hundred. Most damaging were the loss of Steven Smith and Michael Clarke to Moeen Ali, the latest addition to a growing trend.

Australia ‘disappointed’ by Broad reprieve

Australia have defended their short leg fielder Adam Voges and questioned the ruling of the umpires after he faced considerable criticism for appearing to claim a low catch off Stuart Broad that replays showed to have been grounded.
The opener Chris Rogers said Voges had actually said he was unsure if the chance carried to him, only for the umpire Marais Erasmus to give Broad out. Oddly the umpires then conferred and referred the decision, which was then reversed. Rogers questioned whether this process had been correct.
“Happy to defend Adam here, he stood up straight away and said ‘I’m not sure’, and actually the umpire said he was sure and gave him out, so Adam didn’t claim it,” Rogers said. “Then the fact that it was reviewed I’m not sure the ruling there, I think we have a right to be a little bit disappointed. That could be interesting to see what the development is there.”
Moeen Ali, who was at the non-striker’s end alongside Erasmus, said he also thought the chance had carried, and backed up Rogers’ assertion about Voges.

After the fashion of Lehmann, a pillar of Australia’s previous Ashes success was a relentless attack on the spin of Graeme Swann. There was no secret to the tactic, which numerous players had flagged before the series, and no let up in its execution. From the first day in Brisbane, Swann was not allowed to settle. He ultimately chose to retire after three Tests, leaving the tour in haste.Next up, Clarke’s men were similarly successful in attacking South Africa’s left-arm spinner Robin Peterson at Centurion Park. Like Swann, Peterson did not see out the series, being dropped after the first Test. Neither Alastair Cook nor Graeme Smith had been able to gain any traction with spin, as blows rained down on their slow men without anywhere near enough wickets to justify the expense.Since then, however, a blind spot has opened up. In four overseas Tests, Yasir Shah, Zulfiqar Babar, Devendra Bishoo and now Moeen Ali have all benefited from the chances afforded them by Australian aggression. The attacks on spin have continued, but at a far greater cost. No team coached by Lehmann is ever likely to back off from a confrontation with a spin bowler, but there is mounting evidence that a more measured approach is required at times of import.Take Smith. Either side of an admittedly brilliant 199 in Jamaica, he has twice now been dismissed through an impetuous dance down the wicket. On both occasions the bowler anticipated his movement and adjusted his length and pace accordingly, leaving Smith stranded. As Australia’s new No. 3 batsman, Smith cannot afford to be losing his wicket in such a manner, and he knows it.Moeen had been the beneficiary of overconfident batsmen last summer, when India took progressively more liberties against him even as his tally of wickets mounted. He was less successful in Australia during the World Cup, but he is no mug, and like most spin bowlers has become well attuned to the desire of batsmen to use the advantages afforded them in the Twenty20 age – bats, short boundaries, gym work – to take him down.Against Smith, Moeen was initially cowed by the Australian’s fleetness of foot. Three of his first four balls were hammered to the straight and cover boundaries, an unmistakeable statement. In a show of faith, Alastair Cook did not take Moeen off, and in the two overs before he got another look at Smith, the spinner re-calibrated his approach. When they next faced one another, Smith spoiled to get down the wicket again, while Moeen aimed flatter stuff at his hip with a short mid on in place.Steve Smith leaves the field after getting himself into a horrible tangle against Moeen Ali•Getty ImagesThe result of this was a bizarre-looking dismissal, where Smith effectively gave up his wicket to a catch in an effort to avoid being stumped. He had not set off down the wicket before Moeen bowled, but was left hopelessly tangled as the bat face was turned almost completely around and the ball bobbled off near enough to the back of the blade to nestle in Cook’s hands.A little over an hour later, and Clarke was equally eager to get at Moeen. His strength as a player of spin has largely come from his ability to use the full width of the crease, whether getting quickly down the wicket or right back to cut or pull. Both gifts were on display in a pair of boundaries he struck against Moeen, but in attempting to go again, Clarke was jammed by a ball fuller than he was prepared for, bunting back a return catch. These dismissals were a source of great satisfaction for England, their captain Cook and their new coach Trevor Bayliss, who was himself something of a thumper of spinners. But they were exceedingly damaging to Australia, leaving them to struggle through the rest of this match without a first-innings hundred from the top order. As Ashes underdogs in 2013-14, Australia were able to ambush England and Swann. This time, more or less the opposite occurred, and the favourites have some thinking to do.Chris Rogers, who played with considerable verve to reach 95 before also losing his wicket to a shot lacking in some discretion, said that this was Australia, take it or leave it. “If you look at it today you could say perhaps we could have been a little bit more patient, but you can’t have it both ways,” he said. “That’s how guys play and they’ve been so successful doing it. Every now and again they’re going to get out playing that way, and particularly as a side that’s our mentality, to be positive, so when it happens you’ve just got to accept it.”We have spoken about if we can put pressure on the spinner, maybe get him off and get the quicks back on it’s going to help us in the long run. For a lot of us to get out the way we did it’s going to hurt, particularly when there was an opportunity to make it count today. The fact that I go a 90 and there were three thirties and the ways we got out. That’ll hurt us and we think we’re better than that, but these things happen. If you’re positive and you’re going at it, sometimes you’re going to get out these ways.”On day one, Joe Root had said something similar, mentioning that when taking the positive option and “it doesn’t quite come off, you look slightly stupid or you play what looks like a horrendous shot”. Just as Lehmann was made to look occasionally silly by Wiseman, Australia were left looking foolish by Moeen on day two. Their fervent hope is that over the broader measure of a five match series, their approach will win out, as it once did for their coach.

Ponting calls West Indies' early exit a 'disgrace'

“It’s so bad for their cricket. They’ve got too much talent in that team”

Andrew McGlashan22-Oct-2022Ricky Ponting has called West Indies’ early exit from the T20 World Cup a “disgrace” after their heavy defeat to Ireland meant the two-time champions lasted just three matches in this tournament. After an opening loss against Scotland in Hobart, West Indies gave themselves a chance with victory over Zimbabwe which left their final group game as a winner-takes-all contest. In the end, they could only muster 146 for 5 which Ireland hunted down for the loss of just one wicket.Related

Pollard bemoans 'sad day' for WI cricket, says players not at fault for T20 WC exit

West Indies struggle with the basics. Again. And again. And again.

Ireland knock out West Indies with commanding victory

The reaction was swift with CWI president Ricky Skerritt blaming the batters and promising that a “thorough post mortem” would be carried out.The build-up to the tournament had included the much-debated omission of Andre Russell from the squad then the axing of Shimron Hetmyer after he missed his flight to Australia.”It’s a disgrace,” Ponting said at the SCG ahead of the opening Super 12s match between Australia and New Zealand. “It’s so bad for their cricket. They’ve got too much talent in that team and in West Indies cricket not to be able to make it through to the next stage of a World Cup.”And even one of their main players not making it to the flight to get over here for a World Cup… To me this sort of sums up probably how little these events mean to the West Indies players and if you look at the way that they played you’d say the same thing. [Nicholas] Pooran and these guys, they’re much better players than what we’ve seen over the last couple of weeks so no doubt there’ll be some soul-searching done when they get back.

“They’re much better players than what we’ve seen over the last couple of weeks so no doubt there’ll be some soul-searching done when they get back.”Ponting on West Indies’ early exit from the World Cup

“They’ll be as disappointed as anyone, it’s easy for me to stand here and say that it’s a disgrace that they haven’t made it, but they’ll be hurting as much as anybody. They would have had big thoughts and dreams coming here and they haven’t played anywhere near well enough to even progress. So they have got some work to do.”West Indies return to Australia next month for a two-Test series with what will be a very different-looking side. Ponting was already concerned about how competitive those matches in Perth and Adelaide may be although he did note West Indies have been more competitive at home. But in Australia, where they last played a Test series in 2015-16, they have not won in the format since 1997.”I didn’t need to see that to make me more worried about the first couple of Test matches,” Ponting said. “But what’s interesting with that, they’ve actually found a way, mainly at home I guess, in the last few years to be reasonably competitive on the Test front with Brathwaite… and Holder, he’s done a really good job in Test cricket for them.”But they’re going to have to find a few lengths if they’re going to compete against the Aussies with the current group that the Australians have got. If you just line them up on paper, there’s no way you think that they could compete. Cricket’s a funny game, but they’re going to have to play out of their skins I think to make the first two Tests entertaining.”

Maresca could fix Lavia hole by unleashing "very important" Chelsea star

Chelsea have the chance to close the gap between themselves and Liverpool in the Premier League table to just two points with a win against Brentford, which would also move them four points ahead of third-place Arsenal.

Enzo Maresca continues to say Chelsea are not in a title race, but a victory against the Bees would make it very hard for him to continue with these notions. Chelsea are averaging the fourth-highest possession in the league this season with 56.4%, are taking 15.3 shots per game (fourth most again), and are only conceding 11.6 shots per game (sixth fewest in the division).

However, the Italian will be fully focused on going one game at a time, with this game against Brentford being treated the same as any other, which could include some more tactical tweaks, especially in the absence of Roméo Lavia.

Chelsea team news pre-Brentford

Three players who will certainly be out for the Blues are Reece James, Wesley Fofana and Pedro Neto. James and Fofana both missing through injury, whilst Neto is suspended after picking up six yellow cards in the Premier League.

Mykhailo Mudryk is another who possibly won’t be involved, as he has missed Chelsea’s last three games, being out through illness. Lastly, it also seems Lavia will have to be monitored after being taken off at half-time against Tottenham, suffering from hamstring pain.

With the Belgian midfielder likely to miss out, Maresca will have to find another way to set his side up, moving his Chelsea jigsaw around and getting his best available players into the team.

Chalkboard

Football FanCast's Chalkboard series presents a tactical discussion from around the global game.

How Chelsea can fill the Romeo Lavia void

Maresca has labelled defender Marc Cucurella as very “important” in the past for his Chelsea side, and with Lavia missing, the Italian will likely use the Spaniard to configure his team appropriately, platforming the likes of Enzo Fernández, Moises Caicedo and Cole Palmer in order to get the best from them.

The versatility of Cucurella, who perhaps was rather “embarrassing” in the words of Jamie Carragher against Spurs last weekend, allows Maresca to move him into wide central defender positions, as we have seen often this season, playing on the left of a back three in possession – but also invert into midfield at both deeper and more advanced heights.

Against Brentford, the full-back will likely invert alongside Caicedo. In turn, this will allow Fernandez to advance into the left half-space, receive the ball and dictate play from this zone, where he has found immense success in recent weeks, scoring three goals and registering three assists in his last five. Cucurella provides extra stability alongside Caicedo to cover Fernandez’s defensive qualities, having similar recovery numbers to Lavia.

Not only does the Euro 2024 winner bring the off-ball tenacity needed to sustain pressure in those central areas, but he also has the on-ball qualities that Lavia can provide, making 3.46 progressive passes per 90 and 1.15 progressive carries per 90.

Maresca can balance the team in Lavia’s absence with the utility of Cucurella inverting into midfield, allowing everyone to still occupy their best-attacking zones, and the Blues to suffocate Brentford in their own half, being aggressive off the ball, and counter-pressing with high intensity.

Maresca must unleash "bargain" Chelsea star who's as important as Palmer

Porém a arbitragem anulou o lance alegando impedimento.

O argentino seria responsável pelas duas chances derradeiras do Tricolor. Aos 45′, cabeceou por cima do travessão um cruzamento de Igor Vinícius. No minuto seguinte, recebeu na entrada da área, tentou o chute, mas pegou fraco para a defesa de Renan, selando a decisão da vaga para os pênaltis.

Bid made: Man Utd submit £55m+ offer to sign new wing-back for Amorim

Manchester United have submitted a new offer worth more than £55 million to sign “one of the best” defenders for Ruben Amorim, according to a recent report.

The Red Devils are just a few days away from getting the Amorim era underway, but since his appointment was made official a couple of weeks ago, it seems behind-the-scenes work was getting underway ahead of the January transfer window.

Man Utd transfer news

United are heading into the January window under a strict budget, as finances appear tight due to their heavy spending during the summer. Therefore, it is unclear what the Premier League side will be able to do once the window opens in the New Year.

If money is available for Amorim, it could be a busy month, as United have been linked with several players in recent weeks. The Red Devils remain interested in signing Jarrad Branthwaite from Everton. United chased the centre-back during the summer, seeing several bids rejected, and despite the change of manager, he remains a top target for the Premier League side.

As well as Branthwaite, United are also interested in a deal for Tottenham Hotspur’s Pedro Porro. The right-back is known to Amorim, as the pair worked together at Sporting Lisbon, and now the Portuguese is said to be pushing United to bring him to Old Trafford. However, Porro is not the only right-back/wing-back the club are looking at, as they have now made a bid for another player who is performing well in that position.

Man Utd submit £55m+ offer to sign new wing-back for Amorim

According to El Nacional, relayed by TEAMtalk, Manchester United have made an improved offer to sign Jules Kounde from Barcelona after failing with a bid in the summer. The France international has been with the Spanish giants since July 2022 and has been a regular for both club and country since then.

jules-kounde-liverpool-transfer-joe-gomez-premier-league

Kounde, who was called “one of the best defenders in the world” by Xavi, has started 15 of the 17 games he has played for Barcelona so far this season. The 26-year-old has a great ability to get up and down the right-hand side and do his job both defensively and attacking, as shown by him scoring one goal and collecting four assists in all competitions so far this season.

Kounde has impressed that much; he is now on the radar of United. This report states that the Red Devils are keen to sign a new right-sided defender, as Amorim sees Kounde, who United were linked with during the summer, as an ideal option to play as a right wing-back. United have now made an improved offer for the defender worth €68 million (£56.7m) in the hope it will be accepted by Barcelona.

However, the Spanish side have knocked back this offer from Amorim’s side, as Kounde is considered a “fundamental pillar” in Hansi Flick’s squad. Barcelona have reportedly told United and Amorim that the only way they get Kounde to Old Trafford is by paying his full release clause, which stands at €1 billion.

Barca to part ways with Lewandowski in 2026Keen to replace ageing striker with a new No.9Catalans slapped with salary limit reduction by La LigaFollow GOAL on WhatsApp! 🟢📱WHAT HAPPENED?

According to a report from (h/t Football Espana)Barcelona are planning to part ways with Lewandowski in 2026 to sign a new world-class No.9. Despite question marks regarding his age, Lewandowski has responded with impressive performances, surpassing his goal tally from the previous two years in Blaugrana colours. However, it's unlikely he will remain at the Camp Nou beyond next season.

While it hasn’t been officially confirmed, reports suggest Barcelona have agreed to extend his contract for next season, following a clause that triggered an automatic renewal if he played 45 minutes in half of their games this season.

Barcelona face the challenge of finding a replacement, with Ferran Torres impressing but lacking the same profile as Lewandowski, leaving them without a traditional striker should he leave when his new deal expires. Ongoing concerns over the club's financial situation have raised questions over Barca's ability to suitably replacement the former Bayern Munich star.

DID YOU KNOW?

With Barca preparing for life after Lewandowski, several names have been linked with a high-profile move to Spain either this summer or next. Recent reports have linked Barcelona with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, but the club has reportedly declined due to his high wages and €75m transfer fee. Another name tied to Barcelona is Alexander Isak of Newcastle United, however there have been no significant developments regarding either player at this time.

AFPWHAT NEXT FOR ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI?

With 38 goals in 43 games in all competitions, Lewandowski has proven to be a talismanic figure, coming up with important goals. Head coach Hansi Flick will be expecting more of the same from his veteran striker when Barcelona face an in-form Real Betis side in La Liga on Saturday.

Imagine him & Cunha: Wolves lodge enquiry to sign Raul Jimenez 2.0

da mrbet: Wolverhampton Wanderers are finally up and running in the Premier League as their Boxing Day victory over Manchester United moves them out of the relegation zone.

da realsbet: Goals from Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-Chan gave Vitor Pereira his second win in as many matches since taking over from Gary O’Neil recently.

With momentum building, the Old Gold will be looking to secure positive results against Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest, who they face in their next two matches.

If Pereira can avoid defeat against the two clubs, then the Molineux side will head into the January transfer window full of confidence, no doubt about that.

There are still plenty of improvements to be made and Pereira will be keen on bringing a few of his own transfer targets to the Midlands in order to stave away the threat of relegation.

One area that he is already looking at bolstering is his attack, especially as it appears the 56-year-old is lining up a move for a current Bundesliga striker…

Wolves showing interest in German international striker

According to BILD (via Sport Witness), Wolves are looking at Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Tim Kleindienst ahead of the winter transfer window opening next week, having already made an enquiry after asking for information about the striker.

Everton are the other side who are interested in the player, and there could be a shootout between both sides with regard to who makes the first move for the German.

Gladbach managing director Roland Virkus has already claimed that there have been requests for his star player, saying: “Of course there are requests, that’s completely normal if you perform well. But we don’t want to let any of the top players go because something is happening here.”

Might a big enough bid from Wolves convince the Bundesliga side to sell Kleindienst, however? As the Old Gold could do with more firepower up top ahead of the second half of the season.

Why Tim Kleindienst could thrive at Wolves

If it weren’t for the goals of Cunha this season, Wolves would be in serious trouble. Across 18 top-flight games throughout the 2024/25 campaign, the Brazilian has netted ten goals along with grabbing four assists.

Along with his effectiveness in front of goal, Cunha has also created a staggering 11 big chances for his teammates, while averaging 1.9 key passes and succeeding with 2.1 dribbles per game in the league.

The former Athletico Madrid star has delivered the goods for the Old Gold, demonstrating his all-round ability as he has usually been deployed in an attacking midfield role.

This could see him playing directly behind Kleindienst should the German international centre-forward make the move to the Midlands next month.

Having netted nine goals and grabbed five assists in just 15 Bundesliga games, it is evident that the 29-year-old is in the form of his life for Gladbach.

Last term, he scored 14 times, proving that this season isn’t just a one-off and there is no doubt the experienced “leader” – as hailed by manager Gerardo Seoane – could add something different by leading the Wolves’ attack.

This term, he has formed a devastating duo with Franck Honorat which has been praised by analyst Adam Khan, who said on X:

“Is there a more underrated attacking duo in world football than Tim Kleindienst & Franck Honorat?

“Compliment each other so well, play to each other strengths, & seem to have a telepathic understanding for one another’s position on the pitch!”

Tim Kleindienst

Honorat has tended to play out wide, linking up well with his elder teammate and this sort of dynamic duo could repeat itself at Wolves, with Cunha acting like the perfect foil for the four-cap German striker.

In yet more good news for the Molineux faithful, Kleindienst is also extremely similar to a former striker who endeared himself to the supporters during his five seasons at the Old Gold – Raul Jimenez.

Tim Kleindienst could be the next Raul Jimenez

The Mexican forward emerged as something of a cult hero during his time with Wolves, scoring a total of 57 goals in all competitions between 2018 and 2023.

Despite a frantic start, his final few seasons were disrupted by injury problems, and he was subsequently sold to Fulham in the summer of 2023 for a fee of just £5m.

Raul Jimenez

Considering the form he has shown for the Cottagers of late, this has turned into a bargain of epic proportions. Given how much of an impact he had at Wolves, if Pereira signed a player who was similar to Jimenez, then hopefully he could replicate the antics of the Mexican striker.

According to FBref, Jimenez is the third-most comparable player to Kleindienst across Europe’s top five leagues, with the likes of Kai Havertz and Marcus Thuram also similar to the Gladbach sensation.

Indeed, the pair have registered similar statistics in their respective domestic leagues this term with regard to goals and assists (13 vs seven), shots on target per 90 (1.36 vs 1.26), total shots (43 vs 38), shot-creating actions per 90 (three vs 2.02) and touches in the opposition penalty area (79 vs 72).

These statistics indicate that the duo offer the same threat going forward, with both generating plenty of scoring chances for their teams while working their way into the opposition penalty area on a regular basis.

Not just content with offering a threat in the final third, Kleindienst has also shone defensively in the German top flight this term.

When compared to his positional peers in the league, the striker ranks in the top 2% for clearances (1.77), the top 9% for aerial duels won (3.96) and the top 5% for blocks (1.36) per 90 in the Bundesliga.

Transfer Focus

Mega money deals, controversial moves and big-name flops. This is the home of transfer news and opinion across Football FanCast.

It appears as though the player has all the required attributes to shine in the Premier League. An excellent touch in front of goal, the ability to create chances for others while also being able to contribute defensively, Kleindienst sounds like the perfect signing for Pereira to make next month. That’s a certainty.

Lauren Bell sets tone for resounding England win

Lauren Bell followed her star turn in England’s successful ODI campaign with a three-wicket haul as West Indies’ batting struggles carried over into a heavy defeat in their first T20I and Danni Wyatt reeled in an easy target with an unbeaten half-century.Bell, who took a crucial 4 for 33 as England thumped West Indies in their second ODI on Tuesday, was rested for the third match, another resounding win as the tourists swept the series 3-0. But she returned for just the third T20I of her career and ended with 3 for 26 from her four overs to help contain West Indies to just 105 for 7.West Indies were thumped by more than 100 runs in each of their 50-over matches, bowled out in all three with a highest total of 165. After slumping to 19 for 3 inside the first five overs in Antigua on Sunday, they never recovered and Wyatt was positively brutal in taking England to victory by eight wickets in just 12.4 overs.Bell backs upEngland could scarcely have hoped for a better start. Bell had a hand in the first two dismissals, bowling Aaliyah Alleyne for her maiden T20I wicket with her fifth ball, the 11th of the match after Katherine Brunt had opened the bowling in her first international since the Commonwealth Games bronze-medal playoff in early August. Bell then held on when Kycia Knight chipped Nat Sciver straight to mid on in the next over.Hayley Matthews tried to ramp Brunt and lost her off stump and, despite a couple of chances going begging, England continued to keep West Indies under immense pressure. Heather Knight had Under-19s batter and debutant Djenaba Joseph stumped by Amy Jones to make it 38 for 4 after eight overs. Rashada Williams, West Indies’ top-scorer in the ODIs, steered Bell to backward point and set off for a run, foolishly challenging Wyatt’s arm as she threw down the stumps at the non-striker’s end. Next ball, Shemaine Campbell scooped Bell straight down Lauren Winfield-Hill’s throat at mid-on and the hosts were in disarray.Run-outs the only way for WISophia Dunkley continued the opening partnership she forged with Wyatt after Tammy Beaumont was dropped from the T20I side during the English summer and, while she managed just three runs off the first nine balls she faced, four boundaries off Chinelle Henry in the third over had her cruising. That was until a messy run out after she skied Cherry-Ann Fraser to midwicket and ran halfway down the pitch before turning back and, despite wicketkeeper Kycia Knight fumbling the throw-in, Campbelle managed to gather running in from the slips cordon and fired onto the stumps as Dunkley dived in vain.Winfield-Hill, playing her first T20I since February 2020 after losing her ODI spot early this year and her ECB central contract for the coming season, was put down on nought by Matthews diving full-stretch to her right at slip. Having come in at No. 3 with teenage allrounder Alice Capsey back home after breaking her collarbone in the first ODI, Winfield-Hill managed a run-a-ball 15 before she was removed by Cambelle, throwing in from backward point for another run out, West Indies’ only mode of dismissal as their bowlers went wicketless.Wyatt seals winDespite those hiccups, Wyatt had England in complete command. From 51 for 1 after the powerplay, including her six off Matthews in the third over, she swung Fraser through the midwicket region for back-to-back fours to move into the 30s. Wyatt brought up a 29-ball fifty with a six off Karishma Ramharack and she sent Shabika Gajnabi over extra cover to the rope to draw within three runs of victory.Fittingly, Wyatt hit the winning runs to finish unbeaten on 59 off 34 balls with a strike rate of 173.52. It followed her half-century in the opening match of the one-day series and rounded off a successful stay for the visitors in Antigua. The tour now moves to Barbados for the remaining four T20Is from Wednesday.
