As you can see in the table above, Aaronson endured a dreadful campaign with an underperformance of 2.86 xG in front of goal and a duel success rate of just 40%, which shows that opposition players dominated him in physical contests.
BBC Radio Leeds pundit Jon Newsome described him as "lightweight" and the statistics back that up, as the midfielder lost a whopping 83% of his aerial duels throughout the year.

Meanwhile, there is also the matter of players who remain at Spurs but on the fringes of Postecoglou's first team. Bryan Gil opted to remain at Spurs in January despite late interest from Brighton and clubs in Spain, but the young attacker isn't being rewarded with more minutes and looks likely to be a candidate for the chopping block this summer.
Another curious case is that of midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who was once a mainstay under Antonio Conte. The Dane's minutes have been severely restricted under Postecoglou, as he doesn't quite seem to fit the 58-year-old's tactical system.

Hojbjerg's made the vast majority of his appearances from the substitutes bench, but Tottenham's head coach has insisted that he remains an "important" member of the squad.
“It is obvious someone that has played regularly would have wanted to play more but ultimately our performances have been strong and he has had to bide his time," said Postecoglou on Hojbjerg earlier this season.
“He has also been very important in a lot of the games that we’ve won late or had to shore up late. He has been one of the people who has helped us and it is not like he hasn’t contributed at all. He’s been a really important part for us. We wouldn’t be in this position if we were just reliant on our starting XI.
“With Pierre, he is a professional and very determined."

يذكر، أن أحمد ياسر ريان يعد من ناشئي النادي الأهلي ولعب في صفوف الأحمر موسم 2017 ثم رحل معارًا للجونة في الموسم التالي وبعدها في موسم 2020 عاد إلى الأهلي من جديد وفي النهاية استقر به الحال مع نادي سيراميكا كليوباترا.

One man who has yet to feature in all this however is Yuki Kobayashi, and he is now seeking greener pastures away from Scotland.

As first reported by Football Insider's Pete O'Rourke, Kobayashi is exploring out-of-window moves away from Parkhead. The 23-year-old looked close to leaving Celtic last week, but a move to Finnish side HJK Helsinki collapsed at the last minute. Well-placed sources within the club have told O'Rourke that Kobayashi remains free to pursue other offers and that the player is eager to secure a move away from the Glasgow giants.

In truth, it is no wonder why Kobayashi is pursuing other avenues, as the central defender has appeared in green and white on just seven occasions since his arrival from Vissel Kobe in November 2022. His last action for Celtic came in May 2023, with this season bringing about zero opportunities for the former Japan youth international.
It wasn't always like this for the 23-year-old, as a stretch of fixtures towards the backend of last season saw Kobayashi start in the heart of defence and earn praise for his performances. Speaking after a comprehensive 4-1 victory over Kilmarnock in April 2023, former Hoops' boss, Ange Postecoglu sang the praises of his player, telling reporters:
“I thought he was really good. It wasn’t easy to play on the surface and they were physical. It was good to get him 90 minutes but in all the games he’s played, he’s hardly put a foot wrong and he’s growing as a player."

A once promising career at Parkhead has now come crashing down with Kobayashi likely to never pull on the famous green and white stripes again. Hopefully, the opportunity to play consistent football elsewhere will see the defender putting in the performances he is capable of on a regular basis.
