Chelsea have reportedly agreed an £18.5 million ($24m) deal to sign another Sporting CP star after already sealing a move for Geovany Quenda.

  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Chelsea have agreed a transfer with Sporting for midfielder Dario Essugo on a seven-year deal, with the option of a further year. There are said to be no add-ons or sell-on clauses included in the agreement.

    This comes a day after Chelsea reportedly secured the services of 17-year-old Quenda for around £42m ($54m) for next season. The Blues are already making big moves in the transfer market in preparation for 2025-26.
